I’m Nupur Jha, author and storyteller. I was born in 1994 in Bihar, India, and grew up across cities like Mumbai, Kolkata, and Hyderabad. Those years of constantly moving shaped the way I see the world. Different places, different people, and endless emotions sparked my curiosity and laid the foundation for my writing.
I currently live in Bangalore with my husband, who has supported my writing journey from day one. Alongside my career as a Legal Associate, I’ve spent the last several years shaping stories that explore love, darkness, and the complex layers of human emotions. Since 2018, I have carried the dream of writing my first novel, today, I’m finally living that dream.
I write mostly at night, when the world slows down and the characters in my head speak the loudest. My heart belongs to Fiction, especially Dark Romance, Mystery, and Horror. I am endlessly fascinated by the darker shades of storytelling, and one day, I hope to write a story that truly terrifies and captivates.
When I’m not writing, you’ll likely find me reading, experimenting with macramé art, decorating my home, or rewatching The Vampire Diaries. But no matter what I’m doing, stories are always running through my mind.
